Tron/Tron Legacy

#3BGDisney

A cult classic that changed the game. Then the remake reminded us why we love Daft Punk. The Tron series has a special place in the hearts of many geeks around the world. We talk about both films, the highs and lows.

The Terminator

The Terminator is a true landmark of a film. Combining several genres of Sci-fi and adding a dash of early 80’s Arnold Schwarzenegger. This is the first stop of 5, that's right the whole franchise is getting the 3BG treatment.

Matrix Revolutions

Most movies coming towards the 3rd film tends to be either good, decent, or just plain bad. Matrix Revolutions unfortunately falls into the "bad" category. A film that makes up stuff as it goes for the sake of looking cool and sounding deep, Revolutions ends the series on a very flat note. By the end of this movie, you're just glad this series is done and over with. It also doesn't help that the game that came after this flick(The Matrix Online) retconned the ending and made it even worse. Buckle up people, you're in for a bumpy ride.

How the Matrix could've ended lol

Matrix Reloaded

So after gaining knowledge on the origin of the Matrix and how the humans came to be in the first movie from The Animatrix, in comes Matrix Reloaded which pretty much consisted of nothing but information dump. While the action was cool and entertaining, the amount of lore thats dumped on you was ridiculous and kinda contradicted things that happened before. Buckle up folks cause this is where the series takes a turn for the worst.

The Animatrix

Coming off the heels of The Matrix, The Animatrix was born out of the series starting to expand out into a full fledged franchise. With that came a need to explain the nuances of the world of the Matrix and how everything came to be. The Animatrix succeeds in giving an account of how the machines managed to take over the humans while also giving story accounts of how the Matrix effected other characters. Lots of solid animation from various studios and yet another solid soundtrack, the Animatrix is definitely worth a watch.

The Matrix

So here we have a movie that definitely got people's attention when it first was announced. The Super Bowl spot in particular got people curious with how trippy this flick was gonna be. The Matrix is a movie that pretty much plays like a video game at times with the characters doing crazy feats. Its also a movie that had some deep and interesting philosophical ideas that unfortunately the sequels botched it up. Overall still a solid movie to watch.
